Start with useful customer information
Organise your pages around the products, services and questions that matter to your buyers. Use descriptive headings and explain the business offering clearly.
Give each important page a purpose
Use a relevant page title and description, meaningful internal links and content that matches the visitor’s question. Avoid producing near-identical pages that only change a location or keyword.
Keep the technical foundation consistent
- Use one preferred website domain in canonical URLs and sitemaps.
- Keep links and media paths working.
- Redirect renamed pages to the relevant replacement.
- Check the experience on mobile and avoid unnecessary page weight.
Make performance measurable
Connect your own Search Console and analytics accounts. Review whether important pages are indexed and which searches and pages bring useful enquiries. Rankings and traffic are intermediate measures, not guarantees of revenue.
Publish real evidence
Use actual work, approved product information and clear business contact details. If you cite a statistic or commercial result, keep the source and period with it.
Review one improvement cycle
Make the highest-priority content and technical fixes, then review the effect over a suitable period. Keep a record of what changed and avoid promising a specific ranking or enquiry count.
